2011 Triumph t100 | 2441 miles | VIN SMT910K14BT484669 | $5250
As classy as it gets. A proper standard motorcycle. British twin, comfortable bench seat, and a simple stout engine. A phenomenal bike, and the last iteration before the change to liquid-cooled engines by 2016. In my opinion, one of the greatest things to come of the Bonneville wave of the 2010s and up, was the encouragement both by Triumph and all of the great accessory manufacturers (British Customs, BAAK, Canyon Wheels etc) to modify your bike. Few air-cooled Bonnevilles were left unchanged, and it was an awesome time; bars swapped, grips replaced, levers upgraded, exhaust changed, wrapped, and tuned, airbox ditched, shocks with more travel, less travel, or just less chrome, integrated turn signals, Motogadget m-units, ignition switch relocation (for no reason, why did people do this one?), regulator/rectifier relocation (again, why?), instrument bezel upgrades, you name it. Everything was swapped. And the best part - nearly anybody could do it. Most of the accessories were simple bolt-on. It made “customizing” motorcycles accessible.
That said, the beauty in this Bonneville T100 is that none of that was done. It’s been left untouched and stock, as a beautiful example of the artistry that comes out of the Hinckley factory where the tanks are still hand painted. And this colorway is superb. Just the right colors, touches of chrome, and simple black throughout.
This Bonneville has very low miles, was cared for lovingly, and is ready for its new home. It has brand new Michelin tires, new battery, a fresh chain service, and clean oil.
From Triumph:
Still distinctly a Bonneville with its smooth pulling, fuel injected 865cc parallel twin. We’ve added some visual tweaks like twin peashooter exhausts, chrome engine covers, black instrument surround with tacho, a Triumph logo on the seat, two-tone paint, spoked wheels and fork gaiters.
