This bike is an absolute must - incredible performance in a lightweight practical package. Zero absolutely hit it out of the park taking their lightweight enduro and making a proper supermoto. What’s so special about this SM in particular, is that it’s ELECTRIC! I’d argue that thumpers make the best supermotos (they were the first supermotos, and really the “proper” SM) because of their immediate torque, lightweight and compact design, and of course their ability to tackle both dirt with jumps and sticky tarmac, however with the trade-off that you’ve got an ever-present vibration which isn’t the most pleasant as a daily commuter.. While some like myself call it character and find it exhilarating, it’s not necessarily the most comfortable. Now get this, keep the fun, the torque, and the compact design.. and make it ELECTRIC! Instant power, seamless acceleration , and buttery smooth the whole way through the (rev?) range. Fitted with a topcase, this is nearly the perfect city commuter. Imagine we were to install some heated grips and barkbusters and you could probably never peel me off of this thing.
Now I want to emphasize the practicality of this. It’s easy, convenient, no gas, practically no maintenance blah blah blah…
And with that out of the way, I need you to understand that this is the most fun ultimate hooligan weapon there is. Supermoto. Instant electric power. AND IT'S NEARLY SILENT! You can rip, zip, wheelie and stoppie without anybody ever being the wiser. This has to be the most absolutely fun way to get to and from your (hopefully not) boring job.
